School District of Oconee County Student Art Show, March 30-May 4
The School District of Oconee County (SDOC)’s annual Student Art Show is on display at the World of Energy March 30 through May 4 during the World of Energy’s regular business hours (Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.). Stop by to view incredible student artwork from students in K5 through 12th grade. All SDOC schools are represented.
Spring Celebration, 10 a.m.-Noon, April 1
Join the World of Energy for its annual Spring Celebration, a free, family-friendly event that features an egg hunt (bring your basket!), face painting, balloon twisting, magic and more! Rain or shine – for inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors.
TreesUpstate’s Energy Saving Trees, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., May 6
Join the World of Energy and TreesUpstate for its Energy-Savings Trees event, where the public can pick up a free tree at the World of Energy! Reserve your tree online to pick up May 6, or pick up a first-come, first-served tree on May 6. Limited to two per household. Trees species available online include: American hornbeam, Baldcypress, Basswood, Blackgum, Eastern red cedar, Overcup oak, Paw paw, Redbud and White oak. Trees are potted in 3-gallon containers and can be several feet tall.Excited children race to gather eggs at a previous egg hunt event.
