Signs of air duct leaks may include unbalanced temperatures in different rooms, increased dust accumulation, unusually high summer and winter bills, and areas of your home that just never feel comfortable.

How to get your rebate

Find a Duke Energy approved contractor to do the work:

If you have completed a free Home Energy Check and received a qualifying recommendation within the last 24 months, use our list of trusted contractors within your area.

  • Schedule an appointment with the Duke Energy approved contractor to complete the duct test.
  • The contractor will use specialized equipment that will identify leaks and then provide a diagram of your duct system.
  • The contractor will provide you with a written estimate that will be valid for six months on any recommended repairs.

Repair and Start Saving

Schedule an appointment with a Duke Energy approved contractor to complete the repairs. The contractor will perform all necessary work and then apply your Duke Energy instant rebate directly to your invoice. Please note: Duke Energy performs periodic inspections to ensure the quality and professionalism of our contractors.
