How to Opt Off or Opt On Customer Lists

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio requires the local utility to provide certified electric and gas suppliers with a current list of its customers. Customer lists will include name, address, and usage data. Electric and gas suppliers can then use this information to market their services to current utility customers.
