Enroll NowGo Solar without Panels and Save Immediately
No solar panels? No problem. Go solar with Clean Energy Connection without the cost or hassle of a rooftop solar installation. As a shared solar program, multiple subscribers in Florida will support solar-generating sites and receive bill credits in return. Regardless if you rent or own your home, income-qualified customers earn bill credits that are greater than the fee to subscribe, so your savings from solar start from day one of your subscription.
Solar generation has started.
We are proud to report that our first two renewable solar centers are in service and have begun recording clean energy generation for subscribers. Subscribers will begin to see the Clean Energy Connection Credit and Clean Energy Subscription Fee listed in the Billing Details section on their next bill. This will likely occur in August or September 2022, depending on the date of the billing cycle. For questions about the Clean Energy Connection program, please contact CECQualified@duke-energy.com.

These sites are approximately 400-500 acres in size and are located in the following counties: Alachua, Bay, Citrus, Hardee, Levy and Suwannee. The first two plants will be in Citrus and Hardee counties and will begin operation in 2022, with the others following in 2023. We also plan to add four more sites by 2024.
