Milford Replacement Project
The Downtown Milford Replacement Project involves the replacement of approximately 4,300 feet of steel pipeline along Main Street, 200 feet of pipeline along Garfield Avenue, 400 feet of pipeline along Locust Street, 200 feet of pipeline along Sycamore Street, 700 feet of pipeline along High Street, 400 feet of pipeline along Lewis Avenue and 300 feet of pipeline along Spring Street, in Milford, Ohio. Working hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. The construction along Main Street from Mill Street to Sycamore Street will be completed 1 block at a time. While working each block, traffic will be closed to vehicles in both directions and directed to detour along Water Street or Garfield Avenue to Cemetery Road. Sidewalks will always be open and access to businesses maintained.
The Lila Avenue Replacement Project involves the replacement of approximately 900 feet of pipeline along Kirgan Lane, 100 feet of pipeline along Mohawk Trail and 4,400 feet of pipeline along Lila Avenue from Mohawk Trail to Olympic Drive, in Milford, Ohio. Working hours will be from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday – Friday.
The proposed replacement pipelines are constructed with medium and high-density polyethylene (plastic). The new pipe will be installed within the public right of way adjacent to the existing pipelines.
