Shoreline Use at Belews Lake

Duke Energy owns all the land within and immediately adjacent to Belews Lake. Duke Energy grants shoreline access leases to adjacent property owners for permission to access the lake across Duke Energy property. See the Permits for Shoreline Activities page for the shoreline access lease application and additional details about permitted uses and construction applications. Any application must be filled out completely and submitted as instructed. Once leased, the shoreline property may be used for access to Belews Lake for recreational use and for other permitted uses as specified in the lease or in the Guidelines for Use of Shoreline Property at Belews Lake.
