HVAC-Related Improvements

Incentives are available for the qualifying measures and equipment listed below.

Demand Control Ventilation (DCV)

Demand Control Ventilation helps maintain an appropriate temperature based on the occupancy of the room and can save on heating and cooling costs. DCV can be installed on existing HVAC systems and may qualify for a Duke Energy incentive of $50 per ton controlled for qualifying equipment. For more information, download the Demand Control Ventilation Brochure (PDF).

Duct Check Program (available for retrofit projects only)

Leaky ductwork can lead to inefficiencies within your HVAC system. If your facility qualifies, Duke Energy’s program will share the cost of testing and repairing (if necessary) your existing duct system. For more information, download the Duct Check Program Brochure (PDF).

High-Efficiency Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV)

An energy recovery ventilation system pre-conditions incoming air, helping to reduce the load on your HVAC system. Duke Energy incentives of $.75 per CFM are available for qualifying equipment. For more information, download the Energy Recovery Ventilation Brochure (PDF).
