Enhancing Energy Solutions for South Carolina
Our resource plan, approved by the Public Service Commission of South Carolina, adopts a comprehensive “all of the above” approach by incorporating a diverse and reliable array of solutions. This includes exploring new generation methods such as hydrogen-capable natural gas resources and fuel-free renewable energy sources like solar and battery storage. As we pursue near-term actions, we're evaluating sites across South Carolina to find reliable and cost-effective options for implementing this strategy, benefiting our customers and communities.
Efficient Technology
We are evaluating construction of a combined-cycle natural gas plant to be built in Anderson, S.C., as the most reasonable least-cost option to serve customers and to enhance resource and locational diversity, including diversified access to fuel supply.Project Map
