Support for the Kentucky/Ohio community

Our teammates, your neighbors

Here in Ohio and Kentucky, we’ve been a part of the community for more than 100 years. Our more than 2,500 local teammates are committed to making the investments that matter most to our community.

That includes more support for natural gas and the infrastructure that keeps pipelines and jobs up and running. It means investments in cleaner energy that protects the environment and our shared future.

And finally it means investments in the community and the local economy – all to help power your life here in the places we call home.

Ohio/Kentucky Community Investments from 2016-2020:

  • $3.9 billion in capital spending
  • More than $866 million paid to local communities in property taxes
  • Helped to attract 8,800+ new jobs to Ohio and Kentucky through economic development efforts
  • More than $21.3 million in total charitable giving, including donations from the Duke Energy Foundation, employees and retirees
  • More than 54,000 volunteer hours by employees
