EV Home Charger Rebate

Approved applicants can expect to receive the $500 prepaid Mastercard® by US mail in early to mid-February 2021 or sooner if opting for electronic payment via email. Quarterly payments should arrive four to six weeks following the end of each quarter.

• January to March should arrive in May
• April to June should arrive in August
• July to September should arrive in November
• October to December should arrive in February

To qualify for the monthly participation credits, charge during the off-peak demand periods. The peak and off-peak schedule changes with the season: 

• Summer: June 1 – Sept. 30
  • On-peak periods: Monday – Friday, 1 – 7 p.m.
  • Off-peak periods: All other weekday hours and all weekend and holiday hours
• Winter: October 1 – May 31
  • On-peak periods: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – noon
  • Off-peak periods: All other weekday hours and all weekend and holiday hour

You may charge during the on peak period up to three times per month without losing that month’s portion of the participation credit.
