  • Share the Warmth

    Customers struggling to pay their energy bills can receive financial assistance from local agencies. Plus, the Duke Energy Foundation will match every dollar donated—up to $500,000 annually.

  • HeatShare

    Customers struggling to pay their gas and electric bills may be eligible for up to $400 in energy assistance from local agencies.

  • WinterCare

    Customers struggling to pay their gas and electric bills may be eligible for up to $300 in energy assistance from local agencies.

     

  • Energy Neighbor Fund

    One hundred percent of collected funds go to local agencies for individuals or families in need of help paying their electric bills.

     

  • Cooling Assistance

    Local agencies can help qualified or eligible individuals and families cope with higher electric bills caused by extreme summer heat.

  • Home Energy Assistance

    Qualified customers can apply to receive up to $400 in immediate crisis assistance January through March, as well as an account subsidy during peak heating and cooling months.
  • Fan Heat Relief

    Seniors and disabled individuals may apply to receive fans or air conditioners provided by local county service providers in the Carolinas.
