We work with various state and federal agencies throughout our service area to help protect bald eagles by managing the company’s assets to encourage healthy habitats and nesting.

Our wildlife management area near Duke Energy’s Gibson Generating Station provides a home for thousands of wetland dependent animals, including the endangered least tern.

We are committed to protecting the endangered peregrine falcon. Several of our Ohio facilities have established nesting sites for these amazing birds.

Wildlife and Industry Together (WAIT) pairs companies with community groups to plant native plants, shrubs and trees to establish a natural habitat for wildlife.

Our East Bend Generating Station partners each year with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife to band wood ducks and help improve waterfowl populations across the country.
