Supplier Diversity Resources
To be certified as a minority business concern, women-owned business, disabled/sheltered workshop or a small business, verification of the firm's status can be provided by qualified certifying agencies such as:
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)
- Regional Minority Supplier Development Councils
- Local, state and federal government agencies
- Small Business Administration: HubZone or 8A Program
- Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
Please Note
If you are registering as either a HUBZone or 8(a) concern, you must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before completing the registration process with Duke Energy. If you are registering as a small-, woman-, veteran-, or service-disabled veteran-owned business concern, you may provide other certifications, such as those from WBENC, NMSDC (including local councils) or government agencies.
