Electricity is everywhere. It powers the appliances and computers that surround kids -- they come across outlets, cords and power lines every day. Natural gas provides our homes with heat and energy that make our lives comfortable.

As part of Duke Energy’s ongoing commitment to educate our children, this section is to teach kids the principles of electricity and natural gas and the important safety skills they need to make good choices around both electricity and natural gas. Kids can play interactive games, conduct fun experiments, complete hands-on activities and learn skills that can prevent injuries and save lives.
