Hurricane Ike's High Winds Result in Record Midwest Outages

Remember to check your electric meter for damage! A damaged meter may prevent Duke Energy from reconnecting your power. To learn more about your responsibilities regarding damaged meters, see our meter damage page.
Also, if trees or tree limbs are contacting power lines near your home, contact Duke Energy at 1-800-543-5599. This will allow tree crews to remove any tree debris so that line crews can restore power.
