Conesville Station (Unit #4) is a nominal 312-megawatt coal/steam unit located in Coshocton, Ohio, and is operated by American Electric Power (AEP). Duke Energy owns 40 percent of the unit (Dayton Power & Light owns 16.5 percent and AEP owns 43.5 percent). Conesville Station is located in the Reliability First region and Duke Energy’s share of generation is dispatched into the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO). Duke Energy’s share of the unit is governed by the Ohio/Duke Rate Stabilization Plan.
