Suwannee Plant

The Suwannee Plant is located on the banks of the Suwannee River near Live Oak, Fla. It contains three oil-fired steam units, capable of generating a total of 129 megawatts, which went into operation in 1953, 1954 and 1956. The plant also includes three combustion turbine units that went into service in 1980.
