Gallagher Station is a four-unit coal-fired generating facility completed in 1961. Unit 2 began operating in 1958; unit 1 in 1959; unit 3 in 1960 and unit 4 in 1961. Baghouses to reduce emissions were installed in 2008. The Gallagher site also features a wildlife habitat.
