- If you qualify as a low-income household, the HEAP program may help you pay part of your heating bills.
- HeatShare
- To help assist our low-income and elderly customers pay their winter heating bills, Duke Energy has teamed up with The Salvation Army to establish the HeatShare energy fund for people in Ohio and Kentucky.
- ACT Assistance
- For customers living in Hamilton County, Ohio, Accountability & Credibility Together (ACT) will make a one-time payment to Duke Energy on behalf of qualifying families to help with winter gas bills.
- Percentage of Income Payment Plan
- PIPP is a payment assistance plan for Ohio residents designed to help participants make minimum monthly payments to avoid disconnection of electric and gas service.
- Ohio Energy Credits Program
- The former OEC guidelines have been changed. Look for new program guidelines from The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) later this summer.
- Sign Language Assistance
- Signers are available for personal office appointments to assist you with any of your energy service needs.
- Foreign Language Assistance
- Duke Energy offers interpreting services to all of our non-English speaking customers whether they call or visit a local office.
- TDD/TTY
- Customers with speech and hearing impairments with access to TDD/TTY equipment may call us directly. Hearing-impaired customers who do not have TDD/TTY equipment can take advantage of the free relay service provided by Cincinnati Bell.
- Braille Bills
- We offer Braille bills for our visually impaired or blind customers.
- Life Support
- Duke Energy offers a Life Support Program for customers who use electrically powered life support equipment.
- Large Print Bills
- Our Large Print Bills provide the same information as a regular bill, but on slightly larger paper.
- Third-Party Notification
- This program sends a copy of your monthly bill to a friend or relative without holding them responsible for the payment.
