Energy Maintenance Service
Poor heating and cooling equipment maintenance can cause major energy waste in a home. Homeowners often do not have the knowledge or the physical capabilities to maintain their equipment themselves. This is especially true of the elderly and disabled customers. Therefore, Duke Energy is offering an Energy Maintenance Service. To qualify a homeowner must be:
- Elderly and/or disabled
- Have an income of 175% of poverty level or less
- Own their home
- Heat with Duke Energy supplied or distributed electric or gas
- Be a Duke Energy electric customer
