Options
Duke Energy offers two products under the NC GreenPower Program:
NC GreenPower
Allows customers to make a monthly contribution toward one or more blocks (100 kilowatt-hours per block) of energy for $4 per block. The amount will be added to your monthly electric bill. These blocks of energy are produced from wind, solar or biomass sources.
NC Renewable Energy
Offers an alternative for large volume consumers who purchase at least 100 blocks (10,000 kWh) each month at $2.50 per block. The amount is added to the monthly electric bill. This product features energy produced from a wider range of sources.
One-Time Contributions
If you'd like to make a one-time or direct contribution to NC GreenPower, please contact NC GreenPower directly. Duke Energy will collect NC GreenPower contributions from our customers and disburse ALL contributions to Advanced Energy monthly.
