Duke Energy Schedules Annual Meeting for May 5 April 26, 2011
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -
Duke Energy will hold its annual shareholders’ meeting Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. ET, in O.J. Miller Auditorium at the company’s headquarters, 526 South Church St.
Shareholders unable to attend the meeting in person have two options:
- An audio webcast will be available through the investors’ section of the company’s Web site at www.duke-energy.com/investors/.
- Participants can dial 800-862-9098 within the United States. International callers should use 785-424-1054. The conference ID is Duke Annual.
Duke Energy CEO Jim Rogers will provide shareholders with a company update during the meeting. The agenda also includes election of the board of directors and other business. No action will be taken on the proposed merger with Progress Energy during this meeting as a separate meeting will be scheduled for later in the year.
