Leadership Appointments Continue For Duke Energy's Post-Spin Gas Business
Keith Crane Tapped For New Treasurer Role
HOUSTON – Work continues around the separation of Duke Energy’s electric and natural gas businesses into two publicly traded companies, and today, Keith Crane was named vice president and treasurer for Gas SpinCo, Inc., (GasCo), the temporary name of the new gas company.
Crane joins GasCo with almost 20 years of diversified financial experience in the energy industry -- most recently as treasurer of Entergy-Koch, LP.
“Keith brings with him a tremendous depth of experience and we are extremely pleased he will be joining our new company,” said Greg Ebel, chief financial officer for the new gas company. Although the separation of Duke Energy’s electric and natural gas business is targeted for Jan. 1, 2007, today’s appointment is effective immediately.
Crane graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance.
