TEPPCO PARTNERS, L.P. TO BUILD NEW REFINED PRODUCTS TRUCK LOADING TERMINAL IN NORTHWESTERN LOUISIANA

HOUSTON – TEPPCO Partners, L.P. (NYSE: TPP) plans to build a new refined products truck loading terminal in Bossier City, La. The facility will include six storage tanks and a fully automated two-bay truck loading rack. The approximately $14 million project will add more than 20,000 barrels per day of refined products delivery capacity to the Northwest Louisiana and East Texas markets and is scheduled for completion in first quarter 2005.

Located near Shreveport, La., the facility will increase the delivery of branded and unbranded premium and regular gasoline, as well as low-sulfur diesel fuels, which will meet the different product specifications of both market areas.

“This project will provide the Shreveport and East Texas markets with access to Gulf Coast sourced gasoline and diesel fuel and demonstrates our commitment to providing the logistics infrastructure to support the projected demand for transportation services on the TEPPCO system,” said Thomas R. The new truck bays will be designed to minimize loading times for customers and facilitate efficient handling of products. The rack will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will provide access to the surrounding market areas via Interstate and major highways for delivery to the consumer. The rack can be expanded in the future to meet increased demand.
