HOUSTON – Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC (TEPPCO), general partner of TEPPCO Partners, L.P. (NYSE:TPP), today announced the election of Michael J. Bradley to the board of directors. He succeeds Fred Fowler, who retired from the board Feb. 12, after four years of service. Fowler was named president and chief operating officer of Duke Energy in November.

“On behalf of the unitholders and employees of TEPPCO, I want to thank Fred for his dedicated service and advice to TEPPCO’s board of directors over the past four years,” said Jim W. Mogg, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Duke Energy Field Services (DEFS) and chairman of the general partner of TEPPCO.

Bradley, 48, is executive vice president, gathering and processing of DEFS. He is responsible for commercial management, business development and operations for the northern, western and southern regions and Canada. Included in these regions are TEPPCO’s Jonah and Val Verde gas gathering systems. He joined the company in 1979 as an engineer with Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company and held a variety of engineering and management positions.

Previously, Bradley worked for Marley Cooling Tower Company and the U.S. Geological Survey. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Kansas. He is a former member of the board of directors and served on the executive committee of the American Cancer Society's Mile High Division in Denver.

“Mike brings a wealth of relevant experience to TEPPCO’s board,” said Mogg. “His extensive knowledge of the midstream gas industry will be an asset to our board as we continue to expand our activities into the midstream sector.”
