DUKE ENERGY GAS TRANSMISSION RECEIVES SAFETY AWARD FROM AMERICAN GAS ASSOCIATION
HOUSTON -- Duke Energy Gas Transmission (DEGT) has received the Safety Achievement Award from the American Gas Association (AGA) -- the organization’s top safety award. The award is conferred to member companies for outstanding achievements in promoting employee safety along natural gas pipelines. DEGT had the lowest lost-time incident rate among large natural gas transmission companies for 2001.
