The expansion of the Fort Nelson Mainline includes the addition of 4.0 kilometers (2.5 miles) of 36-inch pipeline on the north end of DEGT’s compressor station N5, located approximately 15 kilometers (9.5 miles) north of Beryl Prairie in British Columbia. The additional pipeline capacity will add 43 million cubic feet per day (MMCF/D) of incremental natural gas transportation service to this segment of the BC Mainline. Construction is scheduled for mid-August with an in-service date set for November 2002.

An integral part of DEGT’s British Columbia Pipeline transportation system, the Fort Nelson Mainline segment extends from DEGT’s processing plant near Fort Nelson to its Compressor Station 2 at Willow Flats, British Columbia.
