HOUSTON – TEPPCO Partners, L.P. (NYSE: TPP) announced today that Salomon Smith Barney Inc. has purchased an additional 175,000 units to cover over-allotments. The sale, which is part of TEPPCO’s equity offering that closed July 16, 2002, is at the initial price to the public of $30.15 per unit, less the underwriting discount. The sale brings the total number of common units outstanding to 45.6 million.
