DUKE ENERGY TO DISCUSS WESTCOAST ENERGY ACQUISITION DURING INVESTOR CHAT TUESDAY

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fred Fowler, president of Duke Energy Gas Transmission Group, and David Hauser, senior vice president and treasurer for Duke Energy Corporation, will lead a discussion and answer analysts’ questions regarding the company’s announcement last month of its intention to acquire Westcoast Energy.
