HOUSTON – Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC, the general partner of TEPPCO Partners, L.P., (NYSE:TPP) announced today that John N. Goodpasture has joined the company as vice president of corporate development. Goodpasture will be responsible for finding and evaluating new business opportunities for TEPPCO. He will report to David Langley, senior vice president of corporate development.

"John’s diverse background in all aspects of the energy industry, and his strong financial and analytical skills will be invaluable in advancing the partnership’s growth strategy," said William L. Thacker, chairman and chief executive officer of the general partner of TEPPCO.

Goodpasture comes to TEPPCO from Enron Corp. where he served as vice president of business development for Enron Transportation Services. During his tenure, he was responsible for new business development, including acquisitions, divestitures and alliances. Prior to joining Enron, Goodpasture was president of Seagull Pipeline & Marketing Company. He also served with Union Carbide Corp. as business manager, pipelines and storage, and natural gas supply manager.

A native of Oklahoma City, Goodpasture earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He is a member of the executive committee of the End Hunger Network of Houston, and has served as committee chairman for the YMCA youth services and as a sponsor for the "Sunshine Skiers" at M.D. Anderson Cancer and Tumor Institute. He and his wife, Paula, have two daughters.
