DUKE ENERGY: AMIEL DAVID NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND MANAGING DIRECTOR OF DUKE CAPITAL PARTNERS

HOUSTON -- Duke Capital Partners LLC has named Amiel David senior vice president and managing director in the Houston office.

For the past eight years, David has been director and senior vice president at First Union Securities, Inc. in Houston where he participated in all capital markets activities within the company’s energy group.

Before that, David was with FirstCity in Houston where he was responsible for the technical viability of the energy department senior debt portfolio. Earlier in his career, David was with Superior Oil Co. and Gulf Research and Development.

David earned his undergraduate engineering degree from the University of Tulsa and his graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his master’s of business administration at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his doctorate in petroleum engineering at Stanford University.
