TEPPCO TO EXPAND CAPE GIRARDEAU TRUCK RACK TO IMPROVE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO MIDWEST MARKET

HOUSTON — TEPPCO Partners, L.P. (NYSE:TPP) today announced plans to expand the company’s Cape Girardeau, Mo., truck rack from two to four automated bays. The upgrades will reduce lines and automate all transactions for increased security and faster, more efficient loading. Construction on the project will begin this summer and should be completed by year-end.

TEPPCO’s Cape Girardeau truck rack is strategically located between St. Louis, Mo., and Memphis, Tenn. The upgrades allow TEPPCO to meet the growing fuel demands in the southeastern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas market areas. The truck rack will increase the delivery of branded and unbranded premium and regular gasoline, as well as high- and low-sulfur diesel fuels.

"TEPPCO is committed to providing efficient transportation services to the growing Midwest market," said Refined Products Terminal Services Manager Ken Schutt. "This expansion, along with our recent improvements to the Helena, Ark., terminal improves service to our truck rack customers.
