Because you have a smart meter, you can save on your electric rate 96% of the year. In exchange, you select one of the three time periods when you can reduce your electric use - and during those short times you pay a higher rate.

Select a 3-hour period on summer afternoons and winter mornings, when you can shift your energy use and save. During spring and fall and every weekend and holiday all year you'll pay a rate that is 25% less than what you are paying now.
