The Green River above Lake Summit has had significant rainfall, and Lake Summit is spilling over 100 ft. Lake levels may not go below 100 ft. until the next rainfall which is expected Tuesday evening and Wednesday. We will continue to closely monitor conditions and operate Tuxedo Hydro Station to reduce impacts. Updated lake levels are available any time at http://www.duke-energy.com/lakes/levels.asp and at 800-829-5253. As always, we encourage those living along lakes, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas to pay special attention to changing weather conditions and take any necessary precautions. We will provide additional updates if conditions change.

The Green River Basin has had significant rainfall today and the runoff into the lake is increasing. With another line of storms moving through the area Lake Summit may continuing rising and could go over 100 ft.. One unit is being operated (the other is in an extended outage) .
