Due to heavy rains in the upper Catawba River Basin Duke Energy is closely watching the inflows into Lake Rhodhiss. Lake Rhodhiss is at 101.3 and slowly falling. Under current conditions, we expect Lake Rhodhiss to gradually fall overnight but remain above 100 feet. We will continue to monitor Lake Rhodhiss closely. As always, we encourage those living along lakes, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas to pay special attention to changing weather conditions and take any necessary precautions. We will provide additional updates if conditions change.
