Lake Wylie - 5 Day Message HistoryACTIVELast Update: 5/9/2013 8:10:46 AM The upper Catawba-Wateree River Basin has experienced significant, widespread rainfall. Due to high upstream flows, one or more gates at Lake Wylie dam will remain partially open. As always, we encourage those living along lakes, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas to pay special attention to changing weather conditions and take any necessary precautions. We will provide additional updates if conditions change. Mecklenburg County residents who wish to update their contact information with Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Emergency Management are encouraged to do so at charmeckem@ci.charlotte.nc.us.
