Ninety-Nine Islands Lake
Created in 1910 with the damming of the Broad River, Ninety-Nine Islands Lake is home to the Ninety-Nine Islands Hydroelectric Station. The lake has 388 acres of surface water and extends from full pond to Cherokee Falls, the location of a small hydro plant and textile manufacturer.
Full pond elevation is 511.1 feet.
