Duke Energy International (DEI) owns, operates or has substantial interests in approximately 4,000 net megawatts of electric generation in Central and South America. About 75 percent of DEI's generating capacity is hydroelectric. DEI also has an equity method investment in National Methanol Company (NMC) located in Saudi Arabia.
