Agency Assistance CFL Program
What is the Agency Assistance CFL Program?
The Agency Assistance CFL Program aims to help income-qualified customers reduce their energy usage and save money. Qualified customers may be eligible to receive free energy-efficient Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) bulbs shipped directly to their homes. Customers may sign up during the Energy Assistance Program intake process.
Your local agency assistance representatives will assist you in completing the necessary steps to order bulbs from Duke Energy.

Eligibility Rules
To be eligible for this offer, you must:
- Be an Energy Assistance Program applicant
- Be a Duke Energy residential customer with an active account
- Have electric service provided by Duke Energy
- Have not received the maximum number of bulbs from Duke Energy allowed per household
Delivery Timeframe
If you have already placed your CFL order through your local assistance agency, please allow 4-6 weeks for the bulbs to arrive at your home.
