What is the Refrigerator Replacement Program?

The Refrigerator Replacement Program helps qualifying customers who participate in the Indiana Home Weatherization program replace their older, lower-efficiency refrigerators with new, ENERGY STAR® rated, high-efficiency refrigerators.

This program is offered through a partnership between Duke Energy, the state of Indiana and Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, Indiana.

How to Get Started

The Refrigerator Replacement Program is designed to help qualifying low-income customers lower their monthly utility bills. To qualify, households must meet the guidelines set by the Indiana Family & Social Services Administrationís Weatherization Assistance Program and live in an owner-occupied, single-family home.
