SC Customer Generation Rate Options
There are several ways to physically configure your renewable energy system in South Carolina. These configurations are available for solar photovoltaic, wind, micro-hydroelectric, and other renewable sources of generation. Duke Energy Carolinas offers two “net metering” options, and a sell-all option. Choose the configuration that best suits your project.
A parallel generation schedule is also available for larger cogeneration and small power production facilities that provides supplemental and standby services, plus the opportunity to sell excess generation to the grid.
