Duke Energy Retirees
Letter from Jim Rogers to Retirees
The Duke Energy Retiree Club provides a network of support where retirees can come together to participate in special projects, learn about the latest company news and enjoy fellowship. Currently, the Duke Energy Retiree Club incorporates 23 retiree chapters in the Carolinas and one Midwest chapter in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Duke Energy retiree chapters hold a strong focus on volunteerism, drawing on their experience and deep-seated compassion to make a positive difference in their communities. These volunteers work in partnership with schools and nonprofit organizations, helping them operate easier and better serve those in need. In 2010, the Duke Energy retiree chapters reported close to 200,000 volunteer hours.
