Educational Programs
Education is a central area of focus for The Duke Energy Foundation. We believe that developing and fostering strong educational programs can positively change a community’s economic and workforce development. The Foundation provides strategic funding to nonprofit organizations that support education in our regions, as well as to institutions of higher education that train our future workforce.
The following programs further support the advancement of education in our communities:
- Duke Energy Scholars
- Duke Energy scholarship programs offer merit-based scholarships to children of our employees and retirees.
- Community & Technical College Grants
- These grants enable college systems to extend their expertise, provide rewarding opportunities for students and, ultimately, help revitalize manufacturing in the Carolinas.
- National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
- At Duke Energy, we build partnerships and develop programs to strengthen education in our communities.
