Project Highlights

• The Shelby Solar Farm is located in Shelby, North Carolina
• The facility generates one megawatt of electricity, enough to power approximately 140 homes
• The project began commercial operation in May 2010
• The solar farm supplies electricity to the North Carolina Municipal Power Agency Number 1 under the terms of a 20-year power purchase agreement
• There are a total of 4,522 ground-mounted crystalline silicon panels on the 10-acre site
