Project Highlights  

• The Blue Wing Solar Farm is located in San Antonio, Texas
• The facility generates 14 megawatts, enough to power 1,800 average housholds.
• The project began commercial operation in November 2010
• The solar farm supplies electricity to CPS Energy  under the terms of a 30-year power purchase agreement
• There are a total of 214,500 solar photovoltaic (PV) modules on the 113-acre site
• The solar farm is the largest in the state of Texas and the emissions-free power generated from the site is the equivalent of taking 3,800 cars off the road
