The Catawba-Wateree relicensing process features six unique stakeholder teams with a total of more than 160 participants. Two state relicensing teams represent state-wide or broad-based issues. In addition to the two State Relicensing Teams, there are four Regional Advisory Groups, which bring local grass-roots interests to the table. All six teams are working toward reaching a final agreement in the relicensing process. The final agreement is expected to be complete in April 2006. These teams are facilitated by an independent facilitator.
