Power Delivery

Power Delivery engineering interns - Positions are available for students pursuing four-year degrees in undergraduate or graduate engineering. These interns will develop engineering expertise to recognize and resolve complex engineering and technical problems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient system operations. They will receive real world experience by:

  • Designing electric distribution or transmission lines and substation facilities
  • Performing engineering studies
  • Creating proposals; administering and overseeing distribution or transmission programs, analysis, calculations, design documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and bills of materials
  • Participating in emergency storm restoration

Power Delivery year-round technical interns - Positions are designed for students pursuing two-year degrees in electrical or mechanical engineering technologies. The interns receive real world experience and the opportunity to earn money while they learn. They assist engineering professionals on electric transmission and distribution work by:

  • Mapping
  • Customer matching
  • Assisting with field layouts
  • Analyzing reports
  • Customer engineering
  • Planning
