Duke Energy Employees participated in the following events:

Asian Dragon Boat Festival
The Charlotte Dragon Boat Festival is a celebration of Asian culture in the Carolinas. Over the years, Duke Energy has not only sponsored the festival but also had employee teams participate in the boat races.

Su Casa Hispanic Center
Duke Energy received the 2009 Su Casa Corporate Service Award.  The Su Casa Hispanic Center was created to serve the Hispanic and Latino populations of Cincinnati.  Duke Energy was also a sponsor of the Su Casa Awards Banquet.

Indiana Black Expo
The Indiana Black Expo celebrates the accomplishments and achievements of African-Americans throughout Indiana.  Duke Energy is a sponsor of the Indiana Black Expo.

Leading Women of Cincinnati
Duke Energy is a sponsor of Leading Women of Cincinnati; an organization celebrating women for their accomplishments and contributions to the community.
