When will digital smart meters be installed in your community?

Instructions:

To navigate the map, left click your mouse and drag the map in the direction you want to view. To zoom, use the buttons on the map or the scroll wheel on your mouse. You may obtain the meter status one of two ways.

1. Click on a color-coded area to see the meter status.
2. Enter a street address, city, state and zip code in the "find address or place" search box above the map and click the . Once the location appears, click on the color-coded area to view the meter status.

This map reflects our current meter deployment plan. We will update this map if our timeline changes.

Several weeks before we are scheduled to begin working in a specific area, customers in that area will receive written and / or verbal communications from Duke Energy.

A meter reader will continue to read the digital smart meter until we've tested and validated the new equipment. We will notify customers by letter when manual readings are no longer needed.
