Duke Energy offers electric service to approximately 7.2 million customers in the Carolinas, Florida, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, including retail gas service to approximately 500,000 customers in Ohio and Kentucky. Our service area covers approximately 104,000 square miles in the Southeast and Midwest.
